With the ammount of hops I use in my hop spider, at a rolling boil, this would NOT work for me. Just sayin.

That may be true...I do 5 gallon batches with no more than 2 ounces of hops, works like a charm and it was free

same thing i do, that said i do lose some hop particles into the boil when i use a lot of hops.
