Is my PID working???

I have a Auber SYL-2352 as seen here.

1/16 DIN PID Temperature Controller (Relay Output) [SYL-2342] - $44.50 : auberins.com, Temperature control solutions for home and industry

So I had everything connected, and I am fairly certain it was correct, but when I plugged in the power the display remained blank. I unplugged and plugged in again and I noticed that I could hear it power up but no display.

I hope that I am just dumb and don't understand how to power it up. I have read the directions, I have spent hours rewiring and wiring it up.

Am I correct that the unit should power up if I only have a power supply in slots 9 and 10-- because I can hear it but no scree shows??

Doesn't look like there is an on\off switch, so I would say it should be coming on right away. Might be time to call Auber up and send it back as DOA, and get a replacement. S.
