This is how I bought it. It was all dented and with some rust, but the freezer it self worked awesome. Gig for $75 of from Craiglist.

With some lite sanding and dime appliance paint and it almost looked brand new.

Wanted to be mobile, so I build a platform with casters.

Used a couple of 1x6, speed tape, liquid nail, foam paneling and silicone to extend the lid.

Ready for the decorative collard.

image-3574353300.jpg

Use some 1x10 for the outer collard. I sandwiched the foam paneling; one to make it lighter and also for some extra insulation.

Some stain, a couple of stainless bolts, chrome shank and a perlick tap and it is ready to go.
I will primarily use it for a fermentation chamber/ conditioner, but because it will sit in the garage I figured I added an extra tap. Maybe down the road a couple of extra taps won't hurt. Still need to add a collard on the bottom and some trimming for the banged up corners and it will be completed.
