Default My keezer/bar build (lots of pics)

Been working on this for a few months now with my good friend Mike, not even close to being done but wanted to get some progress pictures up

Picked up a craigslist special chest freezer that can hold 6 cornies. The owner even helped me bring it over so i gave him a bottle of mead to share with the missus

Got some wood...now what

Frame is built

Casters on and skirt being built

Front getting ready for moulding

Moulding all set on the front

Door is on!

This space will hold co2 tanks and maybe some mead kegs

This is the top that will mount the draft box to the cover. have something special planned for the bar top

Making the bar edges

This is it so far, more to come

Wow, nice work, I'll definitely be following this one... You obviously have a fair amount of wood working experience and some nice tools in your shop... Quick question... For the corner pieces, did you use a table saw to cut a 45* miter the full length of each 1x4?

finally getting back to work on this.

Going to be staining and tiling, building the draft box, plumbing and all that.

think i might go with this for the top

have to decide if i want to go groutless or use a black grout.

maybe this or this for the stain

More pictures soon!

Just purchased the taps/shanks and lines for this. Going to start with just 4 taps, i will have 4 pouring and 2 carbing/conditioning. Went with 3 525ss perlicks and 1 575 creamer faucet. 4 and 1/8 ss shanks and 50 feet of bev line all on the way!
