Mash Paddle
|
|
Maple - 36" length
1" thickness, Dips down to 1/2" up at handle and down at paddle. We are looking at getting these lasered with our names for our next brewing event the day after Christmas.
They look good to me, but my Wood Twin thinks otherwise. He is a little of a perfectionist when it comes to wood.

I did a fairly straight taper from the base of the handle to the tip, ending up 1/4" at the very bottom. Really lightened it up - it felt pretty clunky before. Then I rounded all the edges and contoured the grip, ended up feeling nicely comfortable in my hands.
Just made it last week, haven't actually used it yet. All 14 kegs are in use plus I have a carboy in secondary and another in primary, so it'll be a week or two before I get a'brewin again
Cheers!
