I've seen a lot of photos of brew kettles with perminently attached thermometers in the side. I haven't been able to find any of these threaded thermometers online.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

Look in DIY projects- Cheap & Easy 10 Gallon Rubbermaid MLT Conversion. The last page has a pic of one. Called Brew Mometer, from Blichmann Engineering. I'm sure you could Google it.

Yeah, I think the Brewmometer is available at pretty much every supply house that I've ever used. Midwest, Northern Brewer, BBB. There are also other brands, but the Brewmometer has the handy little indicators on the face and I seem to recall that it was pretty affordable . . . around thirty bucks.
Looking for a kettle thermometer.
