Default Keggle issues

I just finished building my keggle.

Do I permanently mount the dip tub. I am getting air leakage some where as it's not draining all the way.

Next a have a small drip on the temp gage and valve. Will this go away after my first batch.

Any good ideas

Are you putting a hose on the end of the valve that goes below the bottom of the keggle?

Since there is no hose barb on the valve in the picture, I have to assume you're not hanging a hose off it. It's absolutely required because liquid doesn't go up hill unless it's being pulled uphill by water going downhill.
