Default KegerRadio

Alright, shame on me for not taking pics during the build. I was inspired by many of the awesome builds out here on HBT. Here is my 1941 Philco Radio that used to belong to my Great-Grandfather. Mom says he used to sit around this old thing for hours. I think I will be keeping up that tradition.

Just thought I would share. Sorry for the grainy pics. I will try to get some better ones.

That thing is cool! And huge, compared to the rest of your kitchen appliances....

Does beer get on the wall with it being sideways like that?

No beer on my walls, I just hold the glass sideways when I pour.

Does the radio still work? It would be great to retrofit it to play brewing podcasts

No, the radio hasn't worked in years. I decided it wasn't worth trying to restore it.

Got some TapBoards for Christmas, reinstalled faceplate, and added some LED's.

Now I need to build something to cool my coffin. I'm getting the dreaded foam.
