JB weld and co2

Couldn't get an air tight seal on a aluminum manifold with plumbers tape so I used jb weld. Anyone heard of any issues with jb and co2?

you could have tried the yellow teflon tape (for gas systems) or the liquid teflon dope. i just wrapped the white tape many times on EVERY male thread and hold pressure for a week solid.

I've taped alot of fittings before. For whatever reason my manifold kept leaking. JB definitely stopped it

You can use JB Weld, but there's also locktite and other thread sealants.....you may not need to premix.

Chemically, you should be fine. It's just a permanent fix, but you knew that going in. Loctite would give you a second chance.

There's what i was looking for. It's already done, so it's definetly permanent. Which means when I add another manifold for a couple more taps it will have to be attached to my 1/4 barb and hose to another 1/4 barb to the new manifold instead of a threaded coupler. Oh well
