Anyone in the Nashville area have a local welder you can recommend. I need to get my couplers welded and need to make sure they do a clean sanitary weld with SS. I have talked to a shop in Mt. Juliet but thought I'd ask around.

Good luck! Wish I could help. I ended up taking a welding class at the local College. From my readings here, most people either have a friendly homebrewer who also welds or they have a friend do it. In my area I have neither and I can not afford to pay 50 bucks a weld. I use the lab equipment now, it was well worth the cost.

I think I'm in the same boat... thought about the silver solder route but that seemed cost prohibitive to me. I'm already going back to school and don't have the time to take up welding yet.

Ask a local dairy who does their welding. Then trade services for homebrew.
