Default How not to do gas / electricity

I have seen talk about Gas and Electricity on his forum. Imagine the surprise when the inspector saw this during her most recent home inspection.

I am totally confused by that picture. I can't even imagine what they were trying to do with that setup.

It's a common device used to convert natural gas to electricity or the reverse. Most often you will see these in use where one or the other is unavailable.

I thought the only devices that can convert natural gas to electricity were turbines and fuel cells.

Turbines? I guess you mean an actuator? That uses natural gas to produce kinetic energy, which is converted to electrical energy.

This particular device should actually be dual-function, producing lots of kinetic energy AND thermal energy.

This looks like my fathers new shed. It's nice! Lots of space, pool table, bar... Just don't touch the metal doorframes with bare feet!
