Default HERMS Brew Rig Beginnings

Well, I have been in the process of designing and ordering parts for a BT controlled HERMS brewing rig. I'm working on the CAD and cost sheet as well as sourcing all of my components. Its fun but a lot of work!

I wanted to post up what just came in today from Walmart. I searched and searched for a reasonably priced steel enclosure and this is what i finally went with. Its a STACK-ON pistol/ammo case with a lock that measures 17X15X10. It has some small holes on every side and is not waterproof, but at $50 shipped i figured i couldn't go wrong.

I plan to weld all of the holes closed as well as incorporate some kind of seal for the door.

I figured i would post this in case anyone else was looking for a cheap control panel (but would rather re-purpose a pistol/ammo case than a toolbox).
