I was just going to ask how you are measuring because I have the 62qt Bayou Classic with steamer basket and the bottom of the basket is 3.25" from the bottom of the pot...then I re-read the original post and noticed that you have the aluminum pot where mine is the stainless steel. Doh!

No worries. I bought four 5/16" x 3" bolts and a couple of nuts and washers. The basket holes are 1/2" so the bolts drop through and act as legs. Works well.
