Default help with my tail piece

I'm finishing up my keezer build. Im installing my shanks and taps today.
Im not sure where the rubber gasket goes. Does it go between the shank and tail piece or inside the nut like a water hose gasket.
Im sure its simple but i cannot find a picture or instructions on assembly.
Thanks for the help.
