Default help me put a temp swich on an extension cord

I’d like to wire my love Tss2-2100 to an extension cord. Seems like all the diagrams I find are for the 2008+ vintage, and mine is older than that.
Also most of the write-ups are for wiring directly to the appliance. I’d rather not do that right now.
Anyone have a diagram for me?
Thanks
Ben

What is the difference between your model and the new ones?

For the current diagrams, just replace an outlet with the appliance and you will be all set.

Thats a good question, I only know that they specifically state 2008 and newer.

This is what I would do if I were you:
Love TS-13010 Temperature Controller - Lustreking Brewing

This is how you wire it. I would guess you have this model.

NOTE: your controller is dual stage. That means each outlet plug will be switched independently. Do you have any wiring experience?
