Default Help With Mashtun..Need SS valve

Hey everyone,

I have a 36qt (I think) coleman xtreme that I currently have vinyl tuning and braid SS setup until I can locate a SS ball valve/bulkhead. the cooler is like this one:

http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CDAQ8gIwAg#

I need something like this that will pass through the cooler wall where I can attach either SS braid or copper manifold:

http://www.amazon.com/Weldless-Stain...3&sr=1-3-spell

I'm hoping someone can help me out..thanks

my first AG batch and only one so far tastes like rubber. I have another post going about that. I also don't like the whole idea off possibly leaching some pastic from the vinyl (PVC). Here is my post about the rubbery AG batch which this may or maynot be the cause:

thanks again!

No, what's wrong with that ball valve that you posted?

I don't know if that will be big enough or what else I may need to buy to make it work. I think the walls are 2" think?

try http://www.bargainfittings.com/index...&product_id=85

then in the option box add the valve and nipple of your choice. change the inside fitting to a nipple (also in the option box) and your good to go.

2" thick at the point the valve would go through? Are you going where the existing drain hole is or making a new hole?

Maybe not, I'll check it when I get home..but I guess you're right because I think it does thin out there by the drain. Thank you very much BTW!
