So I am thinking about building a fermentation chamber out of a fridge. I have a questions.
What do I need and how can I use it for both cooling and heating? It will be in an uninsulated garage that can easily range from mid 40's in winter to mid 90's in summer. Would a refer work best?
Refer would probably be fine. Use a dual stage temp controller. For cooling, power the fridge, for heating, power a heat source in the fridge. Say a light bulb or a space heater.
