Maybe look on craigslist for a prebuilt cabinet and just cut any needed holes and seal it inside with foam.

The ultimate low-tech I've read on here is a water bath with aquarium heaters.

Really if you have a truck craigslist and an old fridge is your best bet. $100 fridge, $50 temp controller.... Bam fermentation chamber

The "son of fermentation chiller" is cheap and easy for keeping things cool (search online). The aquarium heater/water bath works for keeping things warm.
(I've since combined the two, in conjunction with a two stage Love controller, to very accurately control temps. Essentially, I have an aquarium heater/water bath inside my SoFC.) |
