So, i was moving up to 10 gallon batches and I got a cheap chest cooler for like 20 bucks, so i thought rather than buying a 10 gallon gott to go this way. Now i am not going to lie, I really did not like my copper manifold. To much cleaning, not as fast, worse efficiency. I was wondering if anybody has any links to or advice for making a false bottom in one of these coolers...

I have thought about this myself. I think it's doable, most coolers like that the walls are tapperd so I think that you could make one that seals on the sides not the bottom. Then you just need "legs" under it to keep it from crushing all the way down.
