I purchased an old keg today and upon further inspection it turned out to be an european keg that used to have Bass Pale Ale in it. Is a 13.2 gallon keg gonna be big enough to make 10 gallon batches? Also anybody know how to open this thing?
In my opinion, it seems a bit small for a 10 gallon batch since you will likely be boiling more than 10 gallons to start.
If you are going to use it for a brew kettle, you will need to have the top cut off. Find a shop that does plasma cutting.
