I thought I should share: a local homebrew club, Brasseurs a la Maison, created this to serve brews at the Zapp's Beer Festival in Baton Rouge this past weekend.

I must have one. All I need is about 30 more faucets, shanks, kegs, connectors, and another canoe I don't mind drilling holes in.

It was epic. We had 32 taps and served 200 gallons to very happy festival goers in 3 hours.

Can you say "a lot of ice" to keep those lines cold?

JasoninBTR, that would be a worthy improvement for next year: a way to keep the lines cold. Filling the canoe with ice would be impractical for a lot of reasons. Maybe some kind of PVC manifold to run the lines through, that could then be packed with ice?

Of course this begs the question: why did you drill holes in your first canoe?

I tried, but the aluminum e'ffed up my drill bit!

This is a thread I started. ill delete it and post up the larger pictures here instead.

me and some fellow brewers wanted to make a cool tap wall, after some brainstorming we came up with a small boat on the table. we got a canoe donated with multiple cracks and holes. so a little glass work later some wood work for the stand and this is what we came up with.

debuted it this past weekend and it was a hit!
32 taps but we had 40 beers, 200 gallons of beer.

What do you think of our new tap wall?
