Default CPVC Manifold build for my Igloo MLT

Got to clean and sanitize but it flows very well. I drilled holes on the bottom instead of cutting slits. Have to try with grains and see if it gets stuck. Got extra pipe if it does and I go with slits.

Are those holes as big as they look? What size bit did you use? Looks to big from the pic.

Holes look way big. I think I drilled mine 3/32". I get nice clear wort with very little if any recirculation and I have had one stuck mash in dozens of brews. Stuck mash was a wheat heavy malt bill with a fine crush.

Yep. I drilled them too big. I have extra pipe.
Lesson learned the hard way. I should have thoroughly read everyone's articles.
Good thing CPVC is so cheap. Used a leftover bag of grain from an old kit to test, so no loss there either.

Yeah the holes work but only need like 1/16 inch holes.
