so...how many times should it bubble until I can transfer to secondary? Also, I use three piece air locks, is there going to be a difference in the bubble count versus a double-bubble. I don't have an automatic bubble counter, so I'll just be using one of these:

I wouldn't recommend this. I hired a neighborhood kid to sit in my chest freezer with a flashlight and count bubbles with one of those clickers. When I checked on him I remembered that too much co2 is bad for humans.

I wince everytime I see those missing posters all over town.

I think from now on I'll just stick to using my hydrometer
