It's not laying on the floor of the fridge. I have 2 Corny kegs in there, so I had to take one out to snap the photo. My PC fan sits on top of the left keg, pointing towards and into the draft tower. There's no way to get a photo of that.
Much more stable temperatures now, uses less electricity than before, and the $70 Johnson themostat is not needed if it's done right.
Of course, some people do the "passive cooling" method with 2 copper tubes (1/2" inner diameter) around the beer out lines inside of the draft tower + 2 more copper tubes coming further down into the fridge to bring even more cool temps into the draft tower. I am working on this method for my 2nd kegerator right now.
