Do any of you see any problem with using chrome plated 1/2" Copper tubing for a Whirlpool IC? The wall thickness looks to be about 1/16". Is this thin enough to exchange it's cold properties with my hot wort? Thanks.

I would keep a close eye on the plating to make sure none begins to flake off in your beer after a while.

yeah I surely don't want any Chromeslager. I hope it doesn't flake. I got the tubing for free, just hopefully I can make good use of it.
