Ok, I know it's not durable at all, but they were cheap, quick, and the right size.

These are the ingredients - paint bucket grid, 4-gang switch plate, scrap plastic(to seal the bottom), spray paint.

I think I have the ghettoist drip tray. Spotted a rubber car mat (with a superman logo) for like 98 cents on clearance and Target and put it on the floor. Works great and I just rinse it off in the sink every once in a while.

I think you could find a plastic electric cover that same size. I have seen them without the switch holes cut out I think.

Hmmmm between this and the $10 one also linked I have some ideas floating around in my head.
