Hardline plumbing doesn't solve everything. If you can't see into the MLT from the ground, you have to use a ladder to stir the mash.

Notice the difference in the two setups.

From left to right...
Boil Kettle, Mash Tun, Hot Liquor Tun
Pumps used to transfer typically from right to left...

Very nice. Got any close ups of what you did to the lids and the insides?

Currently without a pump but I want to build a bit of a stand that can use a pump in the future. I will be using a Keggle for boil and HLT and a 10 gal cooler for mash. I am thinking 2 tier, top tier being a metal cart with a burner put in for the HLT and enough room to have the mash tun sitting next to it on the cart without melting, the other tier being my normal turkey fryer burner on the ground with the boil kettle. I figure I can mash in to the cooler on the ground, stir it around there, mash there etc. Then lift it onto the cart and drain into my boil kettle. Then I can drain sparge water (batch sparging) into a 5 gal bucket and dump into the mash tun to sparge.

In the future I'd add a pump to this setup so I'd not have any more lifting of the mash tun, or water from the HLT to sparge. I'd keep the boil kettle and burner setup on/near the ground. I transfer to my fermenter in the basement so no need for that 4th level to drain to the fermenter.

Thanks all!
I do AG and have for over a year, just wanted to know how your systems work.
I have a better idea now.

I want to build my own and have seen pictures of them, but didn't know the operations (how they differ from my AG).
I hate taking the time to set up the table saw with the HLT on it and the bar-stool with the MLT on it and moving the burners around.
