Default BG10 standing pilot light

I've seen it done but very rarely... Any ideas on this? I am thinking a Lonnie Mac style "dancing" 4 side plug so that the high pressure doesn't blow it out.
But I am hoping to hear other ideas.
Not interested in electronic starters!

Here's my pilot light system. It has never blown out on me yet.

Pilot Adjustment Valve and Pilot Tube Assembly.

Does the tube hook to the valve then the valve to the gas manifold? My gas manifold is 1/2" do you think changing the size that much would be ok?

Yep. I have a 1/2" manifold as well. You just need to reduce it down with the appropriate bushings. I think I actually used 1/8 bushing and a some teflon tape.
