Good luck man! I'm about to embark on the lager quest myself. I'm building dual fermentation chambers, one for lagers and one for ales. I just need to build the tops and get the temp. controller wired in and they are ready to go. My next batch will hopefully be a lager! I have a thread for my fermentation chambers if you are interested:

I'm building them to match my rustic keezer and bar, with cedar logs and knotty pine. I'm also working on my dedicated brewing room as well. I have a thread for it as well. I'm trying to tie all of my builds together by incorporating rustic qualities to them. Have fun!

truely awesome build man, puts mine to shame. That looks like a whole lot of weight on the lid, did you beef of the hinges?

Thanks.. I didnt beef the hinges any I just bolted them to the collar really well. I had thought about adding shocks to the top to make it easier to lift and support some weight but havent done it.
