Default What is keeping breweries from distributing in WV?

I'm beyond frustrated at finding good beer in my home state of WV. Here is one example that popped up the other day. Green Flash is going to 48 states, except hawaii and wv. Does anyone know what legislation/laws are keeping breweries out of the state?

Yeah...the beer distribution here is terrible, and yes it's the legislatures fault. Just be happy you can drive to the beer barn in Marrietta to buy beer in a state that has beer worth buying. My best bet to buy beer is in youngstown...there are a few places in Pitt worthwhile, but PA also has messed up alcohol laws.

FWIW a WV brewers guild has been formed and theoretically they will put pressure on some of the stupid laws that keep good beer out of our state.

Oh...and you aren't missing much with green flash, IMO.

I would very much disagree with that, their West Coast IPA is outstanding.

Maybe it is because brewers can't compete with all that corn likker!
