Just finishing off a mixed 12 pack of Harpoon. First time I've had any and I have to say I wasn't all that impressed with it. Very thin. The Ale was almost clear, thought I was looking at a Bud.

Let's see... We just got back from the specialty beer shop so we have so "normal" stuff, plus some good stuff!
4 Woodchuck ciders (my wife's)
Some crap that people have left at our house:
2 Bacardi things that my sister left here
2 Coors cans... we have some friends that love that stuff...
1 Stella Artois
Now, the good stuff
4 Alaskan Ambers
2 (22oz) Lagunitas Cappuccino stouts
1 (22oz) Rogue Chipotle Ale (actually, just drank this-tasty!)
1 (750 ml) Rogue Old Crustacean barley wine (can't wait to try this one)
6 pack of Pete's Wanderlust Cream Ale

I just added a quart bottle of BrewMasters Private Reserve (Budweiser) to my fridge. I saw it at the store and had to give it the benefit of the doubt. I've only read bad reviews about it so far though. At the very least I will end up with a very nice flip-top bottle to reuse.
Anybody here had this stuff yet? I'm currently on meds and want to wait until I am done to give this a try.

Went to Sam's Club today and wound up with a great find! They had a "Best of Belgium" 18 pack including six each of Stella Artois, Leffe, and Hoegaarden. That's the first I've seen Hoegaarden or Leffe for sale in the states, so I couldn't pass it up.
They also had a Leinenkugel 24 pack sampler. A friend from Wisconsin keeps raving about that brewery, but I'm skeptical. They're next door neighbors to Old Milwaukee, and only a stone's throw from the "Land of Sky Blue Waters..."

Leinenkugel's makes some excellent beer.
They brew some of my favorites, including Creamy Dark and Honey Weiss. The only ones I don't care for is their Red and their seasonal Apple Spice. We always have Leini's in our fridge, if your Sam's has the sampler buy it, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I thought Arrogant Bastard is made by Stone. ???
Anyway, I hear all the hype about it, but I have yet to find it around me.
I found a couple stores that sell good beer, so I picked up the following:
SN Celebration Ale (6 Pack)
New Belgium Trippel
Boulevard Bully Porter
Fuller's ESB
Rogue Dead Guy Ale
Anchor Steam Beer
I have not yet opened the Boulevard, Fuller's or Anchor, but of the others, all were good except for the Trippel. Don't know if I care for that style. Celebration Ale was the best among those. It tastes a lot like an IPA. Definitely better than their Pale Ale, which isn't bad.
