I've been following Twitter / brew_monkey, brewer at the
Home | The Brew Company | Sheffield, UK

He's a pretty social person, answers questions, gives us a glimpse of what it's like to be a UK professional brewer.

His bio describes him as a, "Brewer, ale drinker extrodinaire and good all-round bastard!" which seems to fit him pretty well.

I'm obviously not local there, but I thought I'd let you other Sheffield area brewers know that you can follow him on twitter! you can let me know if his ales pass muster.

I know Danek hails from there and I saw that Brew_monkey was at the Manchester Winter Ale Fest, so perhaps Orfy already knows him.

Awesome! I'd seen his logos on beer taps in various places, but I never realised they were a local company. I'll definitely check them out. And I see he's doing a beer styles night at a local pub in a couple of weeks - it would be rude not to go along. Thanks for the heads up olllllo!

I seen on of there taps at the local free house sometime last year but I don't remember what it was like. If I see it again I'll take more note.
