I just had this last night and would like to try to make a clone, anyone have any ideas on how I could do that?

I took a shot at a clone for this, if anyone who has tasted this beer can check out my post and give me some critiques I would appreciate it. To me, the most important part of this beer is the hops, I hope I didn't get my IBU too high.

Glad they got rid of noble pils as their spring beer. I thought it was a Sam Adams version of bud light.

I'm impressed. A Sam Adams thread that doesn't have 100 people foaming at the mouth to bash every aspect of their beers!

BTW, Alpine Spring is delicious!

I find the Noble Pils comment to be odd considering it has garnered multiple threads on this site about how good it is. Noble Pils is one of the best pilsners I've ever had when fresh.

I like a lot of Sam Adams beers (from MA) and I really wanted to like this one....but I thought it was terrible. I think they are trying too hard.

Enough with the lemon Jim!

I do like the new Alpine Springs, but something really needs to be done about breweries releasing seasonal beers too soon. Spring starts late March, so did Sam Adams really need to get their spring beer to market in early January? Then come March, Sam Summer will be out.
