Rogue Mocha Porter

The cafe/market I hang out at on Thursdays has a dynamite beer selection. So last Thursday I picked up a sixer of Rogue Mocha Porter for the first time. At $14 this was a tad pricey but man is this one hell of a beer. They don't make 'em much darker than this, and the hop balance is impressive--they definitely make their presence known but they don't overpower the malt.

This one is quickly making its way up in the ranks. Might be a top 10 beer.

Just enjoyed a bomber last night. This along with local micro pubs java porter inspired me to brew my first coffee stout a couple months back. I love coffee!
