Question about a keg bought off craigslist
|
|
Okay, so a friend of mine bought a miller keg from some guy off craigslist, and it's half full with old beer in it, but I would like I know what are we supposed to do if we want to go and take the keg and refill it? Are we supposed to empty out the old beer or do they do it? (we don't have a tap for it)
Please let me know! This is my first time doing anything keg related.

Take it in and exchange it for a new one.

Yup, its an exchange program. someone somewhere paid the deposit on it, when you swap it out its an even exchange. The keg will get sent back to the brewery where they will empty, clean and refill it for the next person.
