Default O'dells Double Pilsner

I bought a six pack of O'dells single batch Double Pilsner http://www.odells.com/beers/sbs/double_pilsner.aspx on Friday after work. Boy this stuff really kicked my butt! Great light fruity taste that went down really smooth but the high alcohol content put me to bed early. It cost about ten bucks for the sixer, but was worth it.Since this is limited, I will try and pick up another sixer before they are gone for the year.

Yup. Just tried some at a fund raiser for the Victims of the Windsor Tornado. GOOD STUFF...In Fact, I smpled MOST of their beer, and didn't find one that I didn't like.

I would like to try this... Although to me 8.1% ABV and only 40IBU seems a little out of balance for a 'pilsener' to me.

Most pils are 4-5% ABV and 35-40IBU...

Still would try it though!
