THE HLY GRAIL -1000 IBUs (mikkeller) / Schlafly Pumpkin
 

Visited THE HOLY GRAIL in Louisville, Ky......BLOWN AWAY.

26 beers on tap, 24 of which I had never heard of. (being somewhat of a conniseur and avid beer enthusiast, this was new for me)

I only had time for one beer, and was far from disapointed by the Schlafly Pumpkin brew. By far the best pumpkin beer I have ever had....

EPIC mouthfeel, just the right amount of spices and sweetness.

Will try to get back to try the mikkeller 1000 IBU beer, has anyone had this? I know that the human palate can only detect so much, etc. etc.

Evidently brewed with a LOT of hops and then topped with a LOT of hop oil.

Have to try it, even if it is a hophead gimmick.

Food was amazing.

The pig sliders :thin loin chop topped with spicy kimchi and some DELICIOUS sauce on a soft pretzel roll......amazing!
