Default Chaucers

I have been hearing for 10 months now how BAD Chaucers mead is...so naturally I had to try it. I finally found it at a reasonable $11 a bottle, so I decided to give it a go. It isn't making my "on Hand" list, but it's definitely worth trying, and I'll get another bottle to set away for a year or more....just for experimentation reasons.

I only first heard of mead a week ago, so of course I head to my closest wine store to find a bottle. Apparently Chaucer's is the only mead available in Delaware. I enjoyed it straight from the bottle. I also liked it warm, but not after seeping the spice bag. Now I can't wait to start my own batch..
