I give it a B overall. Beer Advocate calls this beer a Dubbel, but I'd say it's more in line with a 18E Belgian Dark Strong Ale. Like some of their reviews, it just seems to be missing something. Maybe more malt backbone?
Funny. I bought this again a couple nights back and shared it with a pal. I didn't even remember that I had it before. I enjoyed it a lot this time, of course the other two beers I had prior might have numbed my senses a bit.
