Default Avery's Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest

Has anyone had this yet? We just got it in at the store last week. I was going to get a few bottles, but I thought Id get some opinions from you guys first. I think this has been the first beer to scare me. I love big beers, but im skeptical about a big oktoberfest. 9.87abv (i think thats right) is pretty damn big for an oktoberfest!!!!

So good...can't wait to go to Avery this week for some GABF special releases. It is ultra malty, and balances the alcohol well.

I liked it the first time I had it, but that's while I was at an Avery dinner pairing and it was somewhere around course 3.

I've since bought it, and it is only ok starting from sober.

Tried it, did not like it, at all. Just not for me. I usually can appreciate big beers, but this just wasnt good to me.

Are you sure you aren't my roommate?

I'll be the well-spoken, clean cut, intelligent, non-inbreeding, handsome man who roots for the Yankees...

I'm going at lunchtime today for the cherry Mephistopheles
