Default Anybody ever had Famosa?

I picked up a sixer of Famosa out of Guatemala today. It was on sale at HEB, and I had never heard of it. If you've never had it, don't. This stuff tastes like corn.

I guess Central America is not really known for its rich brewing heritage...

I’ve heard of it. Same company makes a beer called Gallo. I’ve never drank either. My personal opinion of Mexican / Central American / South American / Caribbean beer is that it tastes like BMC but with more piss flavor.

On the other hand, the rums and tequilas are very good.
