Default Alaskan Summer Ale - Kolsch

I was at the store and saw that they still had Alaskan Summer Ale and it was on sale, so I picked up the sixer. I don't know if they were trying to get rid of it, but it was in the back of the refrigerator case so I figured it was still in good condition. It's a kolsch style. I poured one and I have to say tat is is a fantastic beer. A gold color and perfectly balanced. A little hop aroma with a hint of grain. Bitter, but not overly hoppy, clean and crisp, light and everything a kolsch should be. This beer is the goal the next time I make a kolsch.

Now I wish it wasn't 8:00am here and cold.

If it was 3pm and hot, I'd be on a mission to drink something like that. I'd actually go for something a little chilled as well.

How much beer from Alaska makes it's way across the pond, Orfy?

No space on the boat after the American Budweiser comes over.
Actually the UK Bud is brewed near London.

In answer to your question. A little.
