Default Acme Beer Can: Which Decade Is This From?

Just found this on the edge of a creek while hiking in Big Bear, California:

Tried doing some research online but still can't pinpoint what year/decade this can might be from.

Any ideas?

Looks a lot like the can about 2/3s of the way down this page in the "Post War" section. 50s maybe?

Would be before '51 according to that page. In 1951 they started using the phrase "Bull Dog Beer" on the cans which is on the one to the right of the one you found.

That's cool. I hope you kept it. Sounds like it was crappy beer but cool nostalgia now.
