2 Hearts disapointment
 

Not a big deal, but I finally tried a 2 hearts IPA. The restaraunt only had it in a bottle. OK.

They didn't bring a glass and didn't come back for a while.

It was SO overcarbed I couldn't taste it from the bottle.

Finally got a glass and dumped it VIGOROUSLY, creating a huge head.

Still way overcarbed.

Let it warm up and shook it around for 30 minutes or so.

Finally tasted pretty good for the last 4 oz or so.


Definitely very overcarbed. FLUKE?

Not a typical bottle, that's for sure! I've never had an overcarbed bottle. You must have been sold a bad bottle.

What I figured Yoop. But thanks for chiming in, otherwise I wouldn't have bought anymore!

I had it on tap at BW3 couple of weeks ago and I sent it back. Flat and simply lacking hops flavor. I had to go to the bar to make sure the waitress didn't screw up the order. The bartender said, yes, it's 2Hearted. But he poured me another beer, so it's all good.

The waitress asked me if I'd had 2 Hearted before, I said, "Had it? I've MADE it before!" So she had me pick something else.

Well crap.

It was decent after sitting for an hour, can I cross it off my list?;)
