Default O'Daniel's Stout Label - Critique Welcome

Well I'm new to homebrewing but really excited. I'm going to brew a Stout with the help of a friend who has brewed a few other different beers. Then once I get more of a grasp on everything I'm going to experiment to make my own Stout recipe, which this label will go on. Honest critique is encouraged - what looks good, bad, should be changed, etc. Thanks.

EDIT: Revised Version

looks very nice, maybe change the color of the text so it'll stand out more.

Make it bigger. It will fill the label up more and make it a little easier to read.

I like doing a little text to remind me the types of yeast and/or malt that was used on the sidebar. other than that, it looks good

I'd Make the background lighter as well. Either add a
translucent screen or make the background translucent
over a white background.

The darkness of the cracks interferes with the text.
You could even put a translucent screen on the inside
of the circle to lighten it up inside.

It looks really nice though.

Thanks. I'll mess around with it to try to make it more clear. Once I come up with a recipe I plan on adding some small text about the contents of the bottle.

Yeah you've got plenty of space to add extra text.
You should repost a pic when you finish it!

How's the revised version (replaced the original)? Any suggestions? I added some info, but of course I just made it all up. I don't want the circle too big. I want to be able to see most of it looking at the front. I think the text is a little more clear now. I kinda want to keep that color.

The brewed and bottled text is a bit hard to read. Maybe loose the drop shadow. Other than that I really like it!!! Awesome label!

The text is running together. It's either the font, or
the outline that you're using. The letters really should
not touch each other and come across hard to read.

If you can adjust kerning (the space between each
letter) I would make it more, or maybe try a smaller
outline if you can adjust the thickness.

What program are you using?
