Need a quote for a wedding label
|
|
I am making 25 gallons for my brothers wedding in September. The label I am designing will be the same for all the bottles (changing only the beer style for each type). I want to put a nice quote or toast at the bottom of each label. I want it to be something along the lines of drinking and spending time with friends and family, something warm and inviting, something enduring. Does anyone have any thoughts or know of a site that has sample text along these lines? Thanks in advance!

A Google search for wedding toast quotes seems to be a good place to start.

Seems like every one uses that one I went to a wedding just last weekend where the father of the groom said that very thing

Polygamy Porter is already taken...
"Why have just one?"
but a close second would be
Run Away Rye or I Hope She Doesn't Turn into Hefer Hefe
Ok , that last one is a little long, but you get the idea

How about :
"There can't be good living where there is not good drinking."
-Benjamin Franklin
or,
"Give me a woman who loves beer and I will conquer the world."
-Kaiser Wilhelm

Here's to cheating, fighting, stealing and drinking. If you cheat may you cheat death. If you fight may you fight for a brother. If you steal may you steal a womans heart and if you drink may you drink with me.

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something brewed.
