Default Logo Critique/ Comments/Suggestions

I've decided my brew operation (when I start this summer) will be Second Wind Brewing. It works out as I'm the second born among my brothers, my last name is Wind, and I run competitively. Double entendres rock!

Anywho I've been playing around with some logos, I would like the name of the beers to be similar to the meaning of a second wind (i.e. Endorphin ESB) so I tried to figure out to incorporate that. Suggestions more than welcome as I'm at the point where I just need someone else's opinion other than my own:

Logo 1

Logo 2

Logo 3

Logo 4 (kind of a mish mash of all the ideas in one)

I like 1 and 2, but 3 and 4 may be too busy. I think you have a good concept going!

I like 1, but I wish the W was a little more recognizable. I see what your going for, but my first thought before I read the post was "What is 2nd ind?"

Nice.

If I could make a suggestion it would be to perhaps add some red in the same value tone as the metallic blue in logo 4.

I dig 1, and 4, but I think the W in 4 could be a bit smaller and more recognizable. I think 2 would be cool for a neck label, or something similar.
