Default Labels?

If I want good looking labels that won't run or smear while in ice, what labels should I use? Should I have them done professionaly?

Any advice is appreciated.

Umm... besides order a lot (not sure of minimum quantity but at least 50-100) of 4 color process lables that are waterproof which are expensive!?! Avery weatherproof lables which I know are laser and maybe also have an inkjet version too but I know we, my store, does not carry them.

How well will it hold up? I don't know from experience but a customer of mine at my old store used to use it for various soaps that she had some printed at least every week.... so it holds up in a bathroom fine apparently. I know of a 2up and 10up version only. I'm currently looking at using that but I don't want a laser print just for the fact that graphics don't look as good as they do with inkjet or press based printing.

I have heard of people spraying a type of lacquer (sp?) to give it a glossy look and i would assume protect it from water...I'm sure they will chime in though.
