Default First shot at a label graphic

so i was inspired by all the great work on here that i decided to take a shot at this stuff myself...

this is just a idea that popped into my head one boring day at work that i decided to work through...

couldn't decide on which way to put title on label...

Love the Friar! That's a great logo.

My humble opinions on the text...the text seems too diminutive, hard to read. I would go much bigger on the name. Also, the top version reads wrong for me...I read it the first time as "fat brew friar" (which might work as well). I also read it as "brem" instead of "brew"; maybe because of the font or maybe just because it's small.

Not sure what the bubbles coming off his head are, but not sure it really matters since they don't detract from the image.

That's the most kawaii friar I've ever seen - love it!

@noontime: yea i really liked the font, but it may be a little hard to read... i'm going to have to look into that... also the bubbles are to convey drunkeness

I find the bubbles above the friar's head distracting...I'd remove them. I also like the wording curved around the top of the friar's head in the second one above - perhaps combine a more legible font with the same curve idea?
