Default Custom glassware?

Have any of you guys ever gone to the trouble (not to mention expense) of getting custom glassware for your beers? I haven't even brewed my first batch and i'm already thinking about the cosmetic stuff...

Generally you have to order in large quantities to make it cost effective.

a friend of mine does this. she has a laser engraver that will etch glass or burn a log into wood for coasters or tap handles. She is doing glasses for all the members of my beer club! will post here card when i get to my home computer!
